“Cricket in New Zealand is a white sport”, are the words of Ross Taylor in his autobiography Black & White. He said he and some other New Zealand players have been subjected to racism and that people often think he is Maori or Indian.
Ross Taylor has stated that he was a brown face and that many of the comments made against him during his career may seem like jokes to the white players of New Zealand cricket, but that is often not the case.
