Liverpool beat city to claim community shield

 Liverpool claimed the FA Community Shield this evening with a 3-1 victory over Manchester City at the King Power Stadium.


Two late goals from Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez give Liverpool victory in the 2022-23 season curtain-raiser in heavy VAR intervention match.

Substitute Julian Alvarez had earlier levelled for Manchester city in the wake of Trent Alexander Arnold's impressive first-half opening strike.
